American School, last half 20th century. "The Old Man and the Sea", oil on canvas, apparently unsigned. Expressionistically rendered figural bust-length portrait painting depicting an older man with grey beard and somber expression, wearing a black cap and coat with tall collar common of fishermen. Framed approximately 33" x 29". Unframed approximately 24" x 20".
