A group of two Newark, New Jersey sterling silver match safes comprising one by Unger Brothers (American (New Jersey), 1972-1914) of undulating organic form with heavy repousse decoration to front of a pair of winged putti amid c-scrolls and flowers, marked to interior rim of base with intertwined "UB" within a circle, "STERLING 925 FINE"; and one Art Nouveau safe by William B. Kerr & Co. (American (New Jersey), c.1880s-1927) of rectangular form having flowers on serpentine stems flanking monogram "CWD", marked to interior rim of base "STERLING" beside maker's mark and "1196". Unger safe approximate height 2.75", width 1.875". Kerr safe approximate height 2.25", width 1.625". Total approximate weight 1.5 troy ounces.
