Continental, late 19th/ early 20th century. Finely carved alabaster table lamp in two parts comprising main section carved to depict a female nude reclining within an open clamshell set atop rolling frothy waves, the lamp body set on a rectangular carved alabaster base with green to yellow veining. Approximate height 19.5", width 17.5", depth 11". Provenance: Property from the Private Collection of Baroness Liselotte von Schwarzbek, Vienna, Austria thence by descent through the family to the present owner in Atlanta, Georgia.
