Samuel Kirk & Son (American, founded 1815), circa 1868-1882. An 11oz silver footed salver or tray (roughly 917/1000 silver standard) having four ball and claw feet supporting a round dish with band of deep repousse flowers around rim surrounding molded trellis patterned field centered by laurel banded medallion with knight's arm crest. Underside with impressed marks "S. Kirk & Son / 11oz" and engraved 1882 / 1935". Approximate diameter of dish 10", width across feet 10.75", height 1.125". Approximate weight 19 troy ounces.
