French, mid to late 19th century. A carved and polychromed Neoclassical style pier mirror, rectangular in format and brown in color, having a gadrooned molded cornice, over a carved frieze with decorative foliated spandrels and central flower and vine, over a inset mirror with a crested top, surrounded by a carved acanthus tip border, with c-scrolls and rocaille at the top. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 49,425", width 41.15", depth 3".
