French, late 18th century with early to mid 20th century modifications. A Provincial two-door armoire, with a molded top, over two paneled doors, each mounted with shaped peacock plumed form brass escutcheons incised with religious scenes and long hinges, with paneled sides, lamb's tongue carved corners, and a shaped apron, with lamb's tongue feet. Opens to reveal interior shelves with shaped fronts. Approximate height 93.75", width 59.75", depth 23".
