Wave Crest (American, founded 1898- ), 19th century. A fantastic large and early egg crate dresser box in sea foam green satin, the top hand decorated with a desolate looking Cupid standing by the sea. Box is further decorated with floral bouquets in soft pastels with accents of raised lilac colored scroll enameling. Ornate metal mounts include pierced shoulder pads and the four rococo style feet terminating in scrolled toes. Box is not marked. Approximate height 5.75", width 5", depth 5".
