Chinese, first half 20th century. A stained and carved three-piece hardwood parlor set with inlaid mother of pearl decoration comprising two throne chairs and one two-tiered table or teapoy, the chairs of traditional form with straight legs on flat scroll carved feet united by block stretchers and surmounted with rectangular seat, open arms, and shaped back with pierced carved back splat and mother of pearl inlaid floral and foliate accents throughout, the tall rectangular table with one shelf, sculptural carved aprons, and further coordinating MOP inlay. Unmarked. Chairs approximate overall height 38.875", width 26.25", depth 18.75", seat height 20.25", seat depth 17.25". Table height approximately 31.25", width 16.5", depth 12.25".
