American, mid 20th century. A set of eight mahogany Louis XV-style dining chairs, including six arm and two side, each having a squared upholstered back with molded and beaded crest and side rails, with a matching upholstered seat, a molded seat rail, block knees with gold polychromed rosettes, and tapering fluted legs terminating in blunt arrow feet. Arm chairs with fauteuil arms, polychromed gold rosettes, and fluted urn form arm supports. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 37", width 24", seat depth 19", seat to floor 19".
