A fine Napoleon III porcelain and gilt bronze mounted casket, dresser or jewelry box in square form, the top and sides all inset with black porcelain panels showing classical vignettes within Greek key borders opening to a silk tufted interior. with locking mechanism. Key present. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 4.37", width 6.25", depth 6.25". Note: Accompanied with a copy of a document from Phileas Fogg & Company noting provenance from the Estate of Johnnie Lucille Collier (American, 1923-2004), also known by her stage name as Ann Miller. Miller was a dancer, singer and actress--most known for her work in film during the 1940s and 1950s.
