Continental, likely French, late 19th/early 20th century. A cast zinc weather vane in the form of a rooster or cock, standing on an orb, the whole mounted on a squared stained wood base. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 35", width 23", depth 9.325". Note: weathervanes were often used for target practice and retain bullet holes, which is the case with this example.
