Italian, mid 20th century. A set of eight Neoclassical Louis XV style mahogany chairs, including 2 arm and 6 side, each having a caned oval seat back, decorated with carved foliage, a caned seat, a removable striped silk upholstered cushion, a shaped seat rail carved with foliage, and round tapering stop fluted legs, with rosettes at the knees, terminating in arrow feet. Stamped "MADE IN ITALY". Approximate height 35.5", width 20.5", seat depth 18", seat to floor 17".
