German, mid to late 19th century. A carved and stained oak wall clock, having an architectural form, with a shingled roof, over a gilt bronze clock face with Roman numerals and pierced hands, flanked on either side by turned pilasters, with metal mounted spandrels, a molded base, an exposed gilt bronze pendulum, turned columns, a pierced gallery and turret sides, and a shaped lower drop. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 36", width 11.5", depth 5.5".
