Continental, late 19th/early 20th century. A large, carved oak armoire, having a carved pedimental top, centered with a scrolled shell crest, over a blank cartouche, descending onto the frieze and flanked by acanthus scrolls, over two doors, each inset with a mirror and decorated with carved foliated vines, opening to reveal shelved interior storage, over two short drawers, with a shaped skirt and carved bracket feet. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 99", width 56", depth 20".
