English, mid 19th century. A circular cast iron pub table, having a wood top, resting on a cast iron base, the frieze mounted with lion's masks, with pierced supports, each bearing the figure of Britannia holding a shield, with three legs supporting a pierced shelf and terminating in paw feet. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 30.125", diameter 24.125".
