Continental, mid 20th century. A pair of Hollywood Regency Grecian or Neoclassical motif curule chairs in the style of Maison Jansen, each having a black wrought iron frame accented with turned gilt metal finials and applied rosettes, with leather armrests attached with gilt metal rings, ending in gilt metal ball handholds, a slubbed linen scooped seat and back, with metal cap feet. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 33.25", width 21.5", seat depth 16", seat to floor 16".
