English, circa 1910. A white onyx square inkwell, having a beveled edge, with a banded sterling silver neck and a hinged round white onyx lid, line inlaid with lapis lazuli. Sterling stamped with "G.B. & Sons" maker's mark inside oval, the lion passant denoting England leopard denoting London, and a "P" denoting the date. Approximate height 3.8", width 4", depth 4".
