Italian, fourth quarter 19th century. Two Victorian Grand Tour boxes; one a gilt metal filigree trinket or jewelry box having a quatrefoil shape, the hinged top inset with oval micro mosaic floral bouquet within aventurine surround and opening to a blue silk lined interior and raised on four scrolled feet along with a gold covered circular pill or snuff box made by Fabbrica Angelo Pessar, with micro mosaic floral top. The interior of lid is stamped FAP. The footed box is apparently unmarked. Approximate height of footed box 2", width 3", depth 2.25". Approximate height of pill box 1", diameter 1.5".
