Continental, mid 20th century. A burled wood and mahogany desk on stand, having a rectangular case form, mounted with Gothic style brass mounts, with a foliated central diamond, opening to reveal an interior desk, the fall a writing surface, with a central storage cabinet, upper document compartments, a fluted drawer, the sides mounted with crests, resting two three-leg trestle supports, two turned and fluted, on scrolled shoe feet. Approximate height 46", width 30", depth 18".
