Chinese, Ming Dynasty Xuande Period mark (1426-1435), likely 20th century. A Ming Dynastly style porcelain wall vase or wine pot of round form with narrow cylindrical neck at top and ring form handles to each shoulder, the whole decorated in blue underglaze on white ground depicting two 5-clawed dragons amid cloud scrolls to front around raised center medallion bearing a single phoenix in flight, the front with a band of meandering key to perimeter, the side panel with a band of chrysanthemum blossoms on vine. Marked to back in blue underglaze with six character Xuande imperial reign mark. Approximate height 11.25", width across ring handles 10.75", depth 4.5".
