Chinese, likely 20th century. A Ming Dynasty style porcelain Shiliuzun or pomegranate vase of bulbous form with narrow round foot and mouth, the body decorated with white slip and blue underglaze hand painted decoration to foot with lappet band, to body with lotus and chrysanthemum blossoms on vine, to shoulder with similar floral motif and with two applied lion head or jaguar head handles, to tapering shoulder with lappet band, and to narrow neck with stylized waves. Unmarked. Approximate height 15.625", width across handles 13".
