Associated pair, each decorated with pairings of the Eight Auspicious Symbols, below a red keyfret border enclosed by blue bands, foot rim encircled by dotted border on yellow ground, six character Qianlong underglaze mark, China, ca. 1736-1795; Marked; Bowl: 2 5/8" x 2 1/8" x 2 1/8"; Note: This pattern first appeared on bowls of the Qianlong period and was subsequently mimicked during later reigns. This lot is similar to a later pair of teabowls sold at Christies, Hong Kong, on December 1, 2010, lot 3210.
