of flattened shield form with flat lip and base, finely incised to both sides depicting confronting kuilongs chasing the pearl of wisdom, against leiwen ground, the white stone having russet veinings and inclusions to the lower section, having a carnelian agate stopper. Height 2 1/4 inches. Property from the Collection of a Lady, Lake Forest, Illinois Overall good condition with no apparent chips, cracks or restoration. Lid lifts and intact.
