each of circular form, painted in enamel and gilt, the first painted to the cover depicting various samurai figures on the riverbank, the interior of the cover and the box showing sages and attendants in various pursuits; the second decorated with shaped panels enclosing immortals, geisha and samurai; the third with several seated Buddha figures; all signed and raised on fitted hardwood stand. Diameter of largest 4 inches. Property from the Collection of Katherine W. Grevas, Moline, Illinois Each box in overall good condition with no apparent chips, hairlines or restoration. Light wear throughout, the smallest box having minor surface scratches to the gilt highlighted parts.
