each decorated in enamel and gilt, comprising two censers, koro, and a bowl; the first censer of cylindrical form with the main panel painted to show eleven seated immortals with attendants, borderd by two key-fret bands and flanked by a pair of lion head form handles, the domed cover decorated with chrysanthemum heads surmounted by a dog form finial; the second small censer having a compressed faceted body decorated with shaped reverses each showing immortals, interspersed with gilt coin and flowerheads, the shoulder having a pair of upright handles; the circular bowl having sloping walls, the interior painted with various figures and abstract motifs, the exterior with floral sprigs; all signed and raised on fitted hardwood stands. Height of largest 5 1/2 inches. Property from the Collection of Katherine W. Grevas, Moline, Illinois The large censer having a small chip to the right ear of one lion head handle, otherwise all in overall good condition.
