of circular footed form having traces of lacquer, the deeply cast bowl with raised and pointed bosses within a diamond pattern matrix of incised lines, raised on a pedestal foot. Height 6 1/4 x diameter 9 3/4 inches. Property from the Collection of Phillip and Kay Cha, Chicago, Illinois In overall fair condition. Having an old resoldering and visible repair at the mouth rim. Heavy blue and green mineral encrustations to the underside. Traces of lacquer to the exterior; vessel was likely lacquered at an earlier date. Heavy wear throughout, with old chips to the edges.
