of cylindrical form, pierce carved to show a continuous moutain scene with scholars in various pursuits, amongst rockworks below a border of clouds to the mouth, the spinach jade cover carved with lotus surmounted by a finial in the shape of a lotus bud, the stand decorated with foliate scrolls. Height 5 1/4 inches. Overall good condition with no apparent chips, cracks or restoration. Having natural inclusions.
