late qing dynasty/republic period the lobed body raised on a floriform foot surmounted by a similar mouth, the body decorated with a shaped panel enclosing an outdoor scene with children at play, surrounded by molded lotus scrolls and ruyi heads, the celadon ground incised with chrysanthemum sprays, the underside bearing a six-character Qianlong mark in underglaze blue. Height 12 inches. Provenance: By repute, acquired from the Estate of Mr. Alan Abramson, Michigan, by repute Overall decent condition. Minor pitting to the glaze, some rubbing of enamel and gilt, two firing cracks to the base. The foot with two hairlines and restoration.
