ming dynasty of compressed ovoid form supported on outcurved legs rising to a recessed neck and an everted mouth, raised on a later hardwood stand carved to show leafy fruiting vines. Diameter 11 inches. Note: Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity issued by Ming to Ch'ing Antique Oriental Arts, Chicago, Illinois, dated July 9, 1981 Overall good condition with no apparent chips, hairlines or restoration. Crazing and pitting to the glaze. Dirt residue to the inerior. The feet once glued to the base. The wood stand in decent condition with wear, scuffs and scratches throughout consistent with age and use.
