containing one oval amethyst cameo measuring approximately 28. 00 x 19.50 mm carved in an Egyptian motif with a faceted pavilion set within a beaded surround above the foliate engraved base. 9.30 dwts. The ring is approximately size 7.75. The stone is intact and securely set. There are scattered superficial scratches consistent with wear on the base of the shank. The amethyst has minor wear on the face of the cameo.
