Inspired by comics and science fiction as a child, Dalek began making art by excessively doodling, tracing and retracing characters that he grew up with as a child. The artist's pseudonym itself is a homage to the British sci-fi television series "Doctor Who" where the daleks were a fictional extraterrestrial race.
