A letter written to Truman Capote, possibly by his longtime lover and partner Jack Dunphy, from 1977, wherein the writer questions Capote's offer to give him 10% of the proceeds from Capote's book in progress, Answered Prayers and describes the many difficulties of their on-again off-again relationship. Together with an additional note to Capote that refers to the first letter and ends with "I'm leaving tonight after my meeting. Good luck. Get sober, you're going to die if you don't. Johnny."
