A group of eight letters and a telegram written by Montgomery Clift to Jack Larson and/or James Bridges: one handwritten on Savoy Hotel London stationery, reading in part, "Persons staying out after the hour of midnight are automatically evicted"; one typed, signed "Monty" on Savoy Hotel London stationery, dated July 4th; a two-page handwritten lighthearted letter to "Mr. (James) Mac Bridges" signed "love a former actor" and admitting that this was "a silly letter"; a short handwritten note about "the happiness and inner glee [their company] has brought"; a typed, signed letter dated February 20, 1966, that includes a script excerpt; and three typed, signed letters, two dated December 19, 1957 and April 29, 1958. Some with original transmittal envelopes. A Western Union Telegram from Clift from August 26, 1957, reads "four nights we called and no jews at home."
