Chinese, Late 19th/Early 20th century, possibly earlier. Finely handled doucai porcelain compote with two metal handles at sides. Exterior with floral and scrolled foliate decoration with subtle gilt accents. Circular foot with stylized wave motif. Unmarked. Compote or bowl raised on carved ebonized circular stand with four feet. Height of porcelain 3.9", diameter of top 5.5". Overall height on stand 5.4".
