Pair of Chinese porcelain table lamps of slightly different form but converted from a matching pair of handled vases. Each with porcelain vase form body with applied smiling foo dog or guardian lion's head handles with gilt accents on body with blue and gold accented honeycomb motif and circular overlapping medallions with floral and bird decoration with gilt ornament. Each marked in red with character marks. Both lamps resting on a circular painted plinth base--one taller lamp with one lamp socket, the shorter with two lamp sockets. Height (to top of finial) of one light lamp 30.25". Height (to top of finial) of two light lamp 24". Provenance: Estate of Mr. Charles Edward Brodnax "Ned" Hansell, Mimosa Hall, Atlanta, Georgia.
