ROY GAMBLE, OILS ON CANVAS TWO H 6" W 8":Two works: 6" x 8. 6" gouache and 8.25" x 6", oil on canvas. Circa 1915. Both sizes are image only. From the estate of Roy Gamble 1887 - 1972. Gamble studied in 1909 at the Art Students League in New York under Robert Henri and William Merritt Chase; and in Paris at the Julian Academy under Jean-Paul Laurens. The artist exhibited at the Paris Salon in 1910 and 1911.
