ATTRIB. TO FRANCIS GOLDEN (AMERICAN, 1916-2008), GOUACHE & WATERCOLOR, C. 1964, H 14", W 23", 'SHAD FISHING SERIES':Gouache and watercolor on a cardboard-like material, depicting two men, boats, and fish shacks, identified on the reverse as the Pamunkey Indian Reservation on the Pamunkey River, Virginia. No apparent signature, matted, under glass, and framed. A Time Inc. label on reverse identifies the artist as Frank Golden, dated March 16, 1964, and pp. 41-48; possibly used as an illustration in a Time magazine issue.
