American, 20th century. Pair of M. Fred Hirsch Co. (New Jersey, c.1920-1945) double armed convertible sterling silver weighting candelabras. A single raised candle holder sits atop a turned base detailed with twisted gadrooning along the top edge and the edge of the base. The center holder is flanked by curved tubular extensions that result in two more candleholders with matching twisted gadrooning along the top edge and the base. The three holder candelabra can be removed to display a single turnstyle candle stick featuring twisted gadrooned details along the top edge and along the base. True base holds the maker's mark, reads "Sterling Weighted . Base of candelabra reads "Sterling Weighted". With candelabra extension 9.25" x 12.25", without candelabra extension 4.5" x 4". Total approximate weight of 56 troy ounces._x000D_
