Watercolor Birth Fraktur for Anna Showalter, Earl Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, c. 1838, three pairs of birds perched in a tulip bush painted red, blue, yellow, and green, emanating from a heart and vase with verse in Germanic verse, (trimmed at top and bottom), in a bird's-eye maple veneer frame, ht. 11 1/4, wd. 7 3/4 in. (sight). Note: Anna Showalter was born May 24, 1838, married George Stief August 8, 1858, and died May 24, 1896.
