Painting depicting a small riverside village with three homes and a church set on the right bank of a calm river, with smoke rising from each chimney, a pair of villagers grouped on the shore, a fisherman heading out on the river in a rowboat, and tall trees surrounding the scene. Indistinguishable signature in lower left corner. Framed 21" x 29", unframed 16" x 24".
