Queen Anne Carved Cherry High Chest, relates to group of furniture from Hartford county, Connecticut, late 18th century, the upper section with a dentil-molded, scrolled pediment terminating in carved pinwheels, over a carved frieze drawer, two short drawers, and four graduated long drawers flanked by ropetwist columns, set atop a base with shell-carved cabriole legs and claw-and-ball feet, (restoration), ht. 81, wd. 40, dp. 20 1/4 in.
