Signed, John Adam from Paisley Scotland, early to mid 19th century tall case clock (winding key and pendulum door key included) with painted half moon farm scene to the top, painted face with floral spandrels, second hand dial, and date dial; all in a mahogany case with broken scroll pediment, banded and string inlay and a carved roundel to base; marked "John Adam" and "Paisley" on clock face; waist door not original, and base carving added later; seatboard is new as well; dial and signature are original; measures approximately 89-3/4" high, 19-1/2" wide, and 8-1/2" in depth; in good condition, consistent with age and use; some restoration to case.
