Towle Silversmiths (American, founded 1857). A collection of 16 sterling silver flatware pieces in the "Old Colonial" pattern, designed in 1895 by Lucien D. Cole and discontinued in 2009, comprising 12 individual salad forks (6.375"), a solid piece cream ladle (5.75"), a solid gravy ladle (7"), a sugar spoon (5.75"), and a solid serving spoon (9"). Each piece with scrolled handle and pierced urn decoration at base, and scalloped bowl with ruffled edges. Each piece with maker's mark to underside, "sterling", "925/1000", and "PAT.1895". Total approximate weight 15.4 troy ounces.
