Chinese, Qing Dynasty with later repairs. A pair of gilt and burnished metal adult duck form lidded censers, the mirrorer figures depicting standing square with head turned at 90 degrees and beak ajar, the body horizontally bisected as a lift-off lid with single cavity to interior evidencing use as censer with oxidation and scorch marks, the figures each raised on a bi-layer lotus or wave form base. Each with unknown monogram or seal mark to backside of tail. One slightly taller approximately 7.75" x 4.25" x 5.5". One slightly shorter approximately 7.5" x 4.25" x 5.5".
