George III style mahogany wood spiral leather bed or library steps with four gilt and tooled brown leather inset surfaces on each triangular or fan shaped step treads, each on turned supports, and forming a quarter spiral, with vertical ring turned balance rod or newel surmounted with brass orb finial. The whole resting on turned, tapered legs terminating in casters. Overall approximate height 63.12".
