Royal Crown Derby (English, founded c. 1750), c.1901 production at the Osmaston Factory. A large porcelain serving platter of round form with scalloped edges decorated in the Japanese Imari style with cobalt blue band to edges and a ring of iron red chrysanthemum blossoms around center of dish, with gilt accents. Underside with maker's mark commensurate with production at the Osmaston Factory in 1901. Approximate diameter 17.125".
