Dresden (Sächsische Porzellanmanufaktur Dresden)(German, founded 1872), early 20th century. A group of two mated hand painted porcelain parrots, each with green and blue plumage, one with red tail feathers, each perched on naturalistically rendered tree trunk bases with berries and finely rendered high relief foliage, each stamped to underside with blue maker's mark "Dresden", each with graphite inscription to underside "2996/7", one with label to underside "2996/7". "Red Tail Feathers" overall approximately 6.75" x 5.5" x 3".
