A hand colored print after "The Putting Green" by Douglas Adams (British, 1853-1920), originally painted in 1893, print published in 1894 by Henry Graves & Co. in London. Print depicts a foursome of golfers on a putting green set before a pond with boats and a group of structures on the opposite bank, with rolling green hills to the left. Inscribed lower left "Painted by Douglas Adams", lower right "The Putting Green", and lower center "London, Published May 15, 1894 by Henry Graves & Co., 6 Pall Mall, Copyright Registered According to The Act of Congress in the year 1894 by The British Art Publishers Union, New York and Messrs Steifhold and Co.
