Robert Rigot (French, 20th century) for Baccarat (French, founded 1864), circa 1970s. A striking pair of Baccarat crystal Face sculptures by Robert Rigot, entitled "Encounter Man" and "Encounter Woman". Each in triangular form, the 'male' sculpture taller and wider, both with cut out facial features and round eyes. Both sculptures signed, Baccarat RRigot and the Baccarat acid etched stamp on bottom. One with Baccarat gold label adhered to base. Approximate height of 'male' 10.25", width 3.75", depth 2.87". Approximate height of 'woman' 8.87", width 3.65", depth 2.87".
