A Modernist silverplated sculptural box in rectangular form having a flat bottom wood lined box base with raised sides, the lid with concave ends and centralized turned handle. Box rests on four applied bun feet. The underside hallmarked by the retailer "Bonwit Teller" and "Made Italy". Approximate height 2.5" (to handle), width 14.25", depth 8".
